After having finished a legal adviser's training she was entered in 1996 onto the list of legal counsellors and since then she was leading an individual legal practice as a partner of a company associating legal counsellors, and afterwards also advocates. In 2004 Jolanta Budzowska and a legal counsellor Benedykt Fiutowski founded a professional partnership Budzowska Fiutowski & Partners. Legal Counsellors. She specializes in civil law, especially including compensation proceedings (traffic accidents, medical negligence), as well as investment and real estate law. Since 2008 she has been a member of PEOPIL - Pan European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers, and in May 2009 she became a Member of the PEOPIL Board. She is a honorary blood donor, a triple (2007 -  2009) gold medalist in individual and doubles plays of women in tennis in lawyers' sports meetings. She speaks English.
